April 1: Questionnaires Available Online
May 1: Deadline for submitting questionnaires. All candidates MUST use the proper link below to submit their questionnaires. We will NOT accept printed, faxed or e-mailed questionnaires.
May 1-15: CANDIDATE INTERVIEWS. Our local clubs and chapters will contact you.
June 1-7:Endorsement Decisions made public.
IMPORTANT NOTE
You must complete the entire questionnaire in one sitting. If you do not, and close the application, you will LOSE all of the work that you have done and have to start over. If it’s helpful, you can print a copy of the questionnaire (see below) to review ahead of time, but the actual submission must be made online. Once you start answering the questions online, it is crucial that you complete the entire document and hit “Submit”. You WILL have a chance to review your answers before submitting.
Our testers have said it takes about 20 minutes, a bit more if you are verbose (which we welcome!).
It's that time of year again.
Each year, hundreds of Working Families members and leaders participate in screening candidates for public office. Last year, for instance, we interviewed 1329 candidates.
We think the WF interview process is grassroots democracy at its best: diverse groups of citizens asking elected officials, and would-be elected officials, questions about local, state and national priorities.
We invite you to participate in our 2008 endorsement process.
